Project brief

Give the details the attention they deserve.

Textiles carry a story through colour, texture and detail. Alankrit Weaves suggests a direction where the product’s character leads, supported by language that helps people appreciate what they are looking at.

The challenge

A screen cannot communicate texture in the same way as a physical product. The content therefore needs to help visitors notice the details, understand the character of a piece and know what to ask before deciding.

The focus

Make a tactile subject engaging on a screen. Give visual details space and pair them with useful context.

Working priorities

  • 01Craft-led product storytelling
  • 02Detail-conscious presentation
  • 03A coherent brand voice

The process board

A connected approach.

01

Look closely

Start with the qualities that make a piece distinctive.

02

Add useful context

Connect visual character with information that supports thoughtful discovery.

03

Keep it cohesive

Let imagery, copy and spacing reinforce a considered impression.

When details matter to the product, they should matter to its presentation.

Keep the presentation calm and considered. Use readable descriptions and a consistent rhythm between imagery and information.

Strategy notes

01Describe what matters

Use specific product context rather than interchangeable promotional phrases. The description should help visitors appreciate colour, texture and intended use where that information is available.

02Keep discovery consistent

Present information in a repeatable order. Consistency makes a collection easier to explore and allows differences between pieces to stand out.

03Balance story with practical questions

Give the brand narrative space while retaining a clear route to ask about products. A useful presentation supports discovery and conversation together.

Review criteria

  • 01Does the copy explain the distinctive details?
  • 02Is information presented consistently?
  • 03Can a visitor easily ask a product-specific question?
